Ed Burns (strings)

Edward teaches at Wells Cathedral school and has played for the English National Ballet, the Bejart Ballet, the National Ballet of Canada. He also tutors for the National Children's Orchestra, Somerset County Youth Orchestra and the National Schools Symphony Orchestra.

Paul DeNegri (Woodwind & Brass)

Previous Head of Brass at Wells Cathedral School and Head of Student Performance, Paul has also worked with The National Youth Wind Orchestra, The National Children’s Orchestra, The National Youth Wind Ensemble and English Brass Academy courses among many others. He was principal conductor of The Schools Philharmonic Orchestra for seven years and also rehearsed the Wells Cathedral School Symphony Orchestra.

Katrine Reimers (Voice)

Katrine studied music at King’s College, Cambridge, gained a Master’s degree in Piano Accompaniment at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and completed her Professional Répétiteur Training at the National Opera Studio. As a pianist she has worked for companies such as The Royal Opera, English National Opera and Independent Opera, Sadler’s Wells. Katrine’s biggest singing project to date involved conducting over 3,000 singers in a massed choir performance at the Alta Pustería International Choral Festival in Italy 2016. She has musically directed community opera in East London, run ‘Come and Sing’ days on major classical choral works, headed recording studio and film projects with youth choirs, led classical music study weekends for singers and instrumentalists, workshops for the education departments of most of the leading London opera companies, directed Mozart opera from the harpsichord and even had a stab at stage direction (Hampstead Garden Opera, Alcina). She has just been appointed Musical Director of Wincanton Choral Society.

Adam Green (Voice/Strings)

Adam Green studied at St John’s College, Cambridge, the Royal Academy of Music, London, and the National Opera Studio. Winner of the Song Prize at the National Mozart Competition and the Great Elm Competition, he was awarded the prestigious Ian Fleming and Sybil Tutton Awards. 

Operatic roles at English National Opera include Belcore (The Elixir of Love), Arbace (Idomeneo), Aeneas (Dido and Aeneas). Other roles include the title role in The Barber of Seville for Welsh National Opera, Il Conte (Le Nozze di Figaro) at the Musique Cordiale Festival and Iford Festival, Aeneas (Dido and Aeneas) for Opera du Lille, the Grand Theatre d’Aix en Provence and Opera North, and James Macmillan’s Clemency at the Royal Opera House.

 Adam is founder of the Prison Choir Project, a charity that takes musical productions into prison to work alongside inmates. To date he has conducted fully staged performances of West Side Story, Carmen and Guys and Dolls and has plans to stage Britten’s Billy Budd.
